Dr. Louis Scarcella graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy in 1971 with a Pharm. D. degree. In that same year, he received his California State Board of Pharmacy license. Upon graduation, Dr. Scarcella completed five semesters at the University of Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, transferring to the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1976.
Dr. Scarcella graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine in 1978 obtaining his MD degree. He then did his Internship and Residency at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center. He has been in private practice since 1982 in Laguna Hills, CA – having joined Saddleback Medical Group in 1996.
Dr. Scarcella is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is affiliated with Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. He lives with his wife in South Orange County.
