Priya Sharma, MD

Dr. Priya Sharma obtained her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She then completed her internship, residency, and Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California San Diego. Throughout her training, Dr. Sharma has had extensive training in the treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, colonic polyps, colon cancer, esophageal disorders, motility disorders, liver diseases, pancreatic disorders, and many other areas of gastroenterology. During her fellowship, she was named Fellow of the Year by the Department of Medicine at UC San Diego. In training, her primary research focused on gastroesophageal reflux disease and H pylori management. In her free time, Dr. Sharma enjoys exploring new restaurants with her soon-to-be husband, spending time with her nephews and niece, indoor cycling, and attending comedy shows.
